Re Overseas Company ownership;(an Outline only)
We can form a company with an Overseas
shareholding.
We act as the Australian Director, and the Registered Office.
We are not shareholders and act only in a nominal role;
To trade in Australia
a company must have an Australian Business Number. or ABN. (This is in addition
to the Australian Company Number or ACN. which is issued when the company is formed.).
The ABN is required for banking and trading purposes
The Tax File Numbers, GST Notice, and Aust Bus No. for the company are issued by the Taxation Office. The application to the Tax Office for the ABN involves some detail.IT IS POSSIBLE TO ACQUIRE JUST AN ABN NUMBER IF CERTAIN THINGS SUCH AS AN AGENT IS APPOINTED ETC;
The overseas shareholders/directors must apply for an individual Tax File Number. (as a Non-Resident) This is a paper document.
The
application requires either an Australian working Visa, Or Passports or Travel
Documents This involves certification of the travel documents by the Australian
Embassy in your region of the passports or travel documents.
We have the necessary
forms and can e-mail them to you with the application,
Once done the time factor
is about a week, but all must be done by mail.

ON APPLICATION
{The Process is that we apply for the company, This can be achieved with the correct address's and myself as sole director, and the overseas party as Shareholder. (notice I do not have any shareholding,) etc. Then we apply for your personal Tax File Numbers (this must be by paper and also by post.) Once received we then apply for the Company's ABN TFN Etc. Register the non-resident as Director, and all is done.} As stated above if you have a working Visa, we can apply for your tax file number when you land in Australia.
When the company is near to its Annual Return ($212) an invoice will be sent prior, Late payment of this ASIC fee is expensive,
